First Aid at Work Training
This is a 3 day training course, approved by the HSE. The training enables someone to be the certified ‘First Aider’ within the workplace. This certificate lasts for a 3 year period.
Additional (free of charge) training sessions on differences for children are included for anyone working with children.
Course content
- The importance of record keeping in an emergency
- Resuscitation, choking & care of unconscious casualty
- Bleeding, wound care and injuries to bones, muscles & joints
- Poisons, gases and fumes
- Medical emergencies & shock
- Management of burns
