ECG Ltd has delivered many resuscitation training and first aid training courses for businesses, schools and nurseries within the region.

Individuals can be sent to training courses held at Milton Keynes Hospital or training can be arranged and held on-site for a group of your staff.

First Aid at Work

This is a 4-day training course, approved by the HSE. The training enables someone to be the certified ‘First Aider’ within the workplace. This certificate lasts for a 3 year period.

Additional (free of charge) training sessions on differences for children are included for anyone working with children.

Appointed Persons Course

This is a 1-day course training the delegate in basic life support, management of the unconscious patient, a choking patient and a bleeding victim. This will enable the delegate to act as the Appointed Person for first aid in the absence of a fully qualified first aider.

We can run a 1-day basic first aid training course which covers:

As recommended by Ofsted, if you require a more in-depth knowledge of first aid, we can run a 2-day course.

Either course is ideal for staff working with children, parents or carers.

A course manual and certificate will be provided at the end of the training course.
