We can offer both 'load' handling and 'patient' handling training courses. These can be held on-site at your venue.
We can also supply manual handling equipment, contact our office for details.
Course objectives:-
To provide and update staff with the latest legislation regarding Manual Handling. To promote a safer handling environment within the Organisation through the key principles of good manual handling and safer handling techniques.
Course Content:-
- Work related injuries,
- Employers & employees legal and professional responsibilities,
- Basic spinal anatomy & postures,
- Safe working loads,
- Risk assessments & ergonomics,
- Condemned handling techniques,
- Tissue viability,
- Practical session.
This should be a 1 day training course. We can take up to 10 people per course.
